PTZ Camera Operator
Role:
The PTZ Camera Operator remotely controls pan-tilt-zoom cameras for flexible and unobtrusive video capture. This role allows for multi-angle coverage with minimal physical camera presence.
Description:
Using a controller or software interface, the PTZ Operator manages multiple camera angles simultaneously, adjusting positioning, focus, and presets on the fly. They work closely with the TD and director to ensure smooth transitions and timely coverage.
Skillsets:
- Familiarity with PTZ camera control systems (e.g., Panasonic, Sony, Birddog)
- Ability to manage multiple feeds and angles in real time
- Strong eye for framing, headroom, and motion
- Experience with IP or serial-based camera systems
