The Director leads the creative and technical execution of the production, calling the shots and ensuring the visual storytelling is tight, engaging, and aligned with the client’s vision. They are the ultimate authority on what goes live.
Description:
The Director oversees all production elements during the broadcast—from camera cues and graphics to talent and timing. They communicate with the Technical Director, camera ops, audio, and replay in real-time, managing the show flow while making fast, creative decisions that keep the production polished and on point.
Skillsets:
- Strong leadership and communication in high-pressure environments
- Proven experience directing multi-cam live or live-to-tape productions
- Deep understanding of production workflows, switching, timing, and talent blocking
- Ability to visualize and execute a coherent broadcast style from prep through post
