A2 (Audio 2)
Role:
The A2 supports the A1 by managing microphones, cabling, intercoms, and backstage audio logistics. They ensure all field and talent audio sources are properly set and functioning before and during the event.
Description:
The A2 handles hands-on setup of lavaliers, handhelds, and IFBs, manages RF equipment, and performs mic checks with talent and crew. They also assist in real-time troubleshooting and act as the A1’s on-location support throughout the production.
Skillsets:
- Experience with mic setup and RF coordination
- Knowledge of signal flow and audio troubleshooting
