The A1 oversees all audio inputs and outputs, including microphones, IFBs, comms, and playback sources. This role requires pre-event setup and calibration, live mixing during events, and troubleshooting any audio issues in real time.
Skillsets:
Expert knowledge of audio consoles (e.g., Yamaha, Allen & Heath, DiGiCo)
Experience with signal flow, RF coordination, and audio patching
Ability to manage multi-channel mixes live under pressure
