Role:
The A1 is the lead audio engineer responsible for mixing and managing all live audio during production. They ensure clean, balanced sound is delivered to all outputs, from in-house feeds to broadcast streams.
Description:
The A1 oversees all audio inputs and outputs, including microphones, IFBs, comms, and playback sources. This role requires pre-event setup and calibration, live mixing during events, and troubleshooting any audio issues in real time.
Skillsets:
- Expert knowledge of audio consoles (e.g., Yamaha, Allen & Heath, DiGiCo)
- Experience with signal flow, RF coordination, and audio patching
- Ability to manage multi-channel mixes live under pressure
- Strong communication and team coordination
